    For better or worse, I created dylan-lang@googlegroups.com as a replacement for the defunct dylan-hackers@ mailing list, forgetting that comp.lang.dylan existed. If anyone reading this is interested in Dylan you might want to join that group as well, or

    Many years ago I wrestled with getting the Minday version of Dylan
    working acceptably. I got probably 80% of the way there, then life
    carried me onward.

    It seemed like the Dylan world had reached a branch. To compete with
    all the other compiled languages you need "real" compiler/optimizer/etc.
    But to keep the light glowing, you need a language implementation which
    can show up almost anywhere with little muss or fuss.

    When last I looked, the world of Dylan had stalled at that branch.
    I hope things have picked up since then!
