• Unable to start apache httpd in ssl mode on 64-bit Linux

    Hi,
I have compiled apache httpd-2.4.18 with openssl-1.0.2g on linux 64-bit. Compilation is successful and was able to start httpd in normal mode and its working fine. But it aint starting in SSL mode.

    It gives me
"httpd: Syntax error on line 128 of /tmp/ossl/httpd/Release/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load modules/mod_ssl.so into server: /tmp/ossl/httpd/Release/modules/mod_ssl.so: undefined symbol: EC_KEY_new_by_curve_name"

I have ldd and nm for strings, the above key defined in libcrypto.so
which is resolved to correct library but unable to find.

when i compile the same source in 32-bit Linux machine, every thing seems to be working fine even with ssl.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Kishore
