I'm form italy, excuse me for my very poor english.
In Italy we are all at home due coronavirus...
I'm a catholic diacon
I've opened a youtube channel to make prayers
in live from youtube...
mine is a new youtube channel and obiuvsly I'm
not interested to earn money from youtube!!!
I make it for free!!! for the parish!
Last week I play "Salve Regina" from an
registration of a choir of Francescani (thei are monks)
"Salve Regina" is a Catholic pray in latin language
wrtitten in Medieval age and the "music" in
"gregorian" that is some century older..
So I played a registration of a gregorian chant
from a registration (of my friends) of
monks that play the same melody and the
same text by centuries!!!
Obiuvsly the producer, that make against me
the admonition on breaks copyrights,
have several records, also on youtube, of
catholic choirs that are pretty similar to
mine!!! But this is due is a very old
and very famous prayer!
I have contested the admonition and
I've written that the prayer and
the music are public and no copyrights..
but te producer insist and now I have
to made a recours...
