    Fascinating! And thank you very much for this fine facility - I tried it on
    my gopher
    site and found my content. That's a very interesting writeup too, although
    I must
    say that my little gopher is a happy one, not a sad one :)

    This was pretty damned interesting to read - thanks for posting. Can't tell
    if the DEC advert at the bottom of the page is intended in irony, but I love the attention to detail. Gopher over VAX is good stuff.

    Wow, that's a very interesting project. I maintain one of the 370
    gopher servers, I'm glad that your crawler found it (whitemesa.net).
