Hopfullly that FREE got you in here.

After about 15 years and a two foot tall stack of draft printouts, I completed what is probably the last round of revisions of my book and want to let others know about it.

    "Interpolation and Curves for Graphics"
A Study of Piecewise Polynomial Interpolation Fundamentals and Curve Reference

    This is *both*
1 - A study of the fundamentals for a beginner and
2 - An advanced reference of all common piecewise interpolation types with sample curves to demonstrate the behaviors.

It also has a few things that I derived from new ways of looking at various aspects of the math.

When I wanted to learn about Piecewise Polynomial Interpolation for key-frame animation for the laser light show system I designed and built, I couldn't find a book suitable for me. After much reading and searching on the net a number of years ago,
I had many notes, so I put them in order and it turned into the book I originally needed. Comments welcome via my site contact, but I probably won't be writing much in the way of additional revisions (time to ship it).

    Background and downloads are here:

    Direct download links:

    Appendices 1.7M

    Happy fishing...

    V-Chick,

Sorry. Comcast stopped hosting Web pages.

I'll give you TWO places to find it.

    Location #1:
    My ASUS free site.
The Wayback info below is in case ASUS decides to quit:

Public Access link to the book folder: https://www.asuswebstorage.com/navigate/a/#/s/5BD870827EE84F719164DDCD26CC89344

    The book is Manuscript_Vers_8b.pdf
    Appendix is Manuscript Appendix_Vers_8b.pdf

Checking things, I See I have a Vers 9b. I don't recall what was fixed in 9b. Sorry. I just uploaded it to ASUS. Start with 9b.

You should get BOTH the BOOK TYPOS.docx and Manuscript_Vers_8b CORRECTIONS.docx...I think...

The first document in the folder ". Intro for Added Docs and Biblio.docx" explains all the others. (the "CLICK HERE"'s in it won't work)

PLEASE let me know it you found anything useful. I've received a few comment over the years.

If you have questions, e-mail me and I'll do my best to answer. It'a been a while since I did all the detailed work.

    Enjoy

#2 Not the greatest, but it'll be there for a while:
This is on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine.
(this is basically everything that was ever on the internet..saved)

I'm only showing you this so you know about it.
The linked marked with ****** SHOULD go directly to the old Interpolation Page.

    Wayback Machine:
    Here: https://archive.org/web/

You enter the original URL you are looking for:
    http://k9dci.home.comcast.net/

CLICK tick the 2015 block at the upper right, then go down and click on OCT 8. That should get you (Wait, give it time to retrieve) MY HOME PAGE
    (works for me): https://web.archive.org/web/20151002232549/http://home.comcast.net/~k9dci/site/

CLICK on the top link for Piecewise Polynomial Interpolation should get you here:

    ****** https://web.archive.org/web/20151002232205/http://home.comcast.net/~k9dci/site/?/page/Piecewise_Polynomial_Interpolation/

All linked files may not have been collected. it varies. ............................................................
