  • xemacs 21.5.31 on RHEL6 not behaving as expected - characters doubling

    Hi,

    i am working on an application that uses xemacs editor within. Initially the applicaiton was on RHEL 4 and using version 21.1.14 and was all good.

    Now, we migrated to RHEL 6 (Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.7 (Santiago)) and the version 21.1.14 is no good, i tried out a number of version between the latest and 21.1.14, but none even loaded up except 21.5.31

    But with this version, in the editor i can see characters doubling up i.e., for each character i type, it shows up two.

    Has any encountered anything similiar ? Am i using the right xemacs version (21.5.31) . Any information on how to go about fixing this will be helpful ?
