Please let me know how many PJE are acceptable in 24 hour BERT test ?
what is PJE errors
PJE = Pointer Justification Events
They're not errors, but normal behaviour of the equipment.
However the difference between negative and positive PJEs
is proportional to the frequency offset between the VC-n clock
(=clock of the originating node) and the local clock of the node
where the pointer justifications are generated.
So the "acceptable" amount of PJEs depends on how
your network timing is organized...

Hi bert,
Can you clarify one thing to me as specified below.
We are observing AU Pointer Adjustments(Errors) on the tester(JDSU)
which is connected to the STM1 circuit, which is looped at other
end.what is the maximum count we can accept this AU Pointer Adjustments(Errors)?
After getting this AU Pointer Adjustments(Errors), my tester screen
becoming yellow colour.
Regards
Hari
