    Bonjour Huub,

The client data can be frames. How the stuff and the client data can be dissociated if the frames are not delineated?

In G.709 (02/2012), figure D.3, we can see the same number of stuff bytes than client data bytes. Is it always possible? We can have a continuous block of 10 000 bytes to map into an OPU unity.

    Thanks,
    cordialement,
    Michelot

GFP (G.7041) will take care of the delineation).

Annex D describes the GMP principle.

Figure D.3 is indeed confusing. If you look at the formulas
(D-10) and (D-11) just above it, you can conlcude that the
number of client data bytes (D) and the number of stuff bytes (S)
    is not the same.

    Best regards, Huub.

GFP (G.7041) will take care of the delineation).

Consequently, GMP is unnecessary for client data frames. We have GFP-F for that. Is it correct?
