• Need more idea about synchronisation

    Hello hubb,
    What is synchronisation meaning?

What is the need SDH network elements are to be synchronised?

Can you explain me with some practical scenario? Like what will happen if it's not synchronised?

And how SDH elements maintaining a same clock throughout the network
How the value of SSB byte and synchronisation is related

    Hello Richard,

    You wonder:

    Hello hubb,

    (my name is Huub)

    What is synchronisation meaning?

It is the "S" in SDH. This networking technology is based on the
fact that all elements are synchronised to the same network clock

What is the need SDH network elements are to be synchronised?

Because SDH means "Synchronous" Digital Hierarchy.
without synchronisation the SDH network does not work faultlessly.

Can you explain me with some practical scenario?
Like what will happen if it's not synchronised?

I cannot explain that in a few words, search the internet for a
    good SDH tutorial.

And how SDH elements maintaining a same clock throughout the network

They use the recovered clock received from other elements.
And use that reference based on the timing hierarchy provisioned
    in the network.

How the value of SSB byte and synchronisation is related

The SSM contains the quality of the clock in the same signal,
this quality is used to select the reference clock.

    Regards, Huub.
