I know that SDH is continuous streaming constant bit rate, TDM based, what happens if for example PDH client 140 Mb/S stop pushing the data? how is the adaption will be to Container C4?

    Hello Ahmed,

    You wonder:

I know that SDH is continuous streaming constant bit rate,
TDM based, what happens if for example PDH client 140 Mb/s
    stop pushing the data?

For instance when the cable is disconnected.

how is the adaption will be to Container C4?

Then the receiver will detect a signal fail and as consequent
action will insert the AIS signal. This is a signal with all
    bits set to "ONE".

You can read ITU-T recommendation G.783 for more details.

    Best regards, Huub.
