what is use of VCAT in EOS can anybody explain?
Without VCAT in SDH you can use either a VC-12 (2 Mbit/s),
a VC-3 (45 Mbit/s) or a VC-4 (144 Mbit/s) for transporting
Ethernet signals.
With VCAT you can group multiple VC-12, or VC-3 to transport
a signal more efficiently, with optimum use of bandwidth.
E.g. 5 VC-12 in a VC-12-5v for transporting 10 Mbit/s
and a VC-12-50V for transporting 100 Mbit/s.
LCAS will give you additional protection and flexibility.
