• Relation between OTUk and OCh

From arstpt.michelh@gmail.com@21:1/5 to All on Fri Dec 4 00:41:57 2015
    Bonjour Huub,

In G.709, section 15.1.3, we can read that:

"OTUk OH information is part of the OTUk signal structure. It includes information for operational functions to support the transport via one or more optical channel connections".

It seems that an OTUk can be transported on several OCh.

    Did I lack this possibility?

    Best regards,
    Michelot

    Bonsoir Michelot,

    You wondered:

In G.709, section 15.1.3, we can read that:

"OTUk OH information is part of the OTUk signal structure. It
includes information for operational functions to support the
transport via one or more optical channel connections".

    Did I lack this possibility?

    It is indeed possible.
Please take a look at G.709 figure 8.3 and also Annex C.

    Best regards, Huub.
