I've used mullvad.net for a year now. I'm happy so far.

The knock on your door is coming.

    five eyes cannot be trusted.

    Quite like honeypot VPNs.

Funny, seriously which one is good as I prefer to pay for a yearly
    contract.

This is a complex subject and it doesn't have an easy answer.

I'm sure you're aware that VPN's do not make you anonymous in the
sense that your chosen VPN always knows your destinations. So it's
not true anonymity. How far can you trust them?

There's lots of snakeoil out there. Probably some are honeypots.
You will never know what they log or track in the background but
despite their public proclamations, you should assume that they all
do. Don't assumee that for $49 a year that they will go to jail to >>protect you.

You'll have to do your own research.

Take a look at this guide:

    <https://vpntesting.info/>

Everyone has a different opinion but the following "seem" to have a >>pretty good reputation. YMMV.

iVPN, AirVPN, BolehVPN, Insorg, Perfect Privacy.

    Good luck.

    Thanks.

OK, which one would anyone use:
    nordvpn or purevpn?
Even though nordvpn is based in nas central Panama, it is well liked.

Flip a quarter, we own both.

For fuck sake pick one and be done with it.

Use your own wits and stop relying on other to make your
    decisions for you.

We are all here to help. If you cannot then don't post anything. He or
she is clearly new to this so we should give good advice.
Since I do not use a vpn, so can someone just help the person.

Ya, we are all experts on "nordvpn and purevpn"... Never heard
of them. Is the user trying to hide downloading porn or pirated
media content? What is the intended use of the VPN? The user
does not say and it is stupid of you to say help them when we
know not the particulars of use.

I have been using IBVPN for two years and have had two minor issues
with their service that was immediately resolved by their support
staff. They have multiple servers all over the globe and if you do
have any issues, they have great tech support and an IRC channel.
They have IOS, Android, MAC, Linux and Windows versions of their
software. I'm also using their service with my Kodi box running on
    a Raspberry Pi2.

Their pricing can't be beat. Check them out here:

    https://www.ibvpn.com/

You can try their service for 24 hours for free. Here's their
    pricing page:
