  • Get connection's application name.

    Hello, we have a lot of apps connecting to a IDS with the same user from the same host (it's a IIS in a Windows Server), and we need to know for each connection whats the app who is using the connection.

    To make a specific user for each app is not an option becasue maintenance issues.

    There is a way to add to the connection the name of the source app that generate it ?

    For example:
    SQL Server has Application Name as connection string argument: http://www.connectionstrings.com/use-application-name-sql-server/
