  • Informix for Database Administrators class updated to include version 1

    Hello Informix Folks,

    I will be teaching our next Informix DBA Class, Informix for Database Administrators, on April 22-25, 2019.  We still have a few places left if you or someone you know would like to attend.

    We have updated our Informix Training class to include the newly released version 14, the latest version of Informix, and we have new training servers. You can take any course online on the web from your desk, or attend in person at our training center
    in Virginia. All you need is a web browser to connect to our WebEx training system and an SSH client (like Putty) to connect to our training lab servers. We have new servers this year, for our labs each student uses an 8-core Linux server, with 16GB and
    SSD drive with Informix 12 and an extensive database of benchmark exercises.

    The Informix class is a four-day course for new and experienced database administrators, programmers, and technical support personnel who will be configuring, managing, and tuning Informix 14, 12, 11, 10, 9 or 7 databases.  The class is taught by
    Informix IBM Champion, Lester Knutsen, with over 30 years of Informix DBA and Performance Tuning Experience.

    Custom and Private Courses - Last year we taught many custom on-site or online courses geared for the specific needs of a company moving to Informix. We already have two planned for this year - contact us if you are interested in your own private custom
