Seeking a Software Engineer, DB2 DBA in Raleigh, NC
This DBA position is in support of the Worldwide Business Management Systems (BMS). BMS is made up of several highly complex tightly coupled applications used by IBM Global Services (IGS) World Wide, IGS Geographies, IGS Lines Of Business and World Wide
Finance to assign and manage Project and Account identification, for management of Contracts, collection of Labor, maintaining employee data, management of IGS resources, Inter Company Agreement (ICA) Processing, costing of System and Services, Ledger
processing, Invoicing, reporting of Gross Profit, Revenue and Signings and Backlog, Information Warehousing and Business Data Warehousing.
Required experience:
7-10+ years’ experience in the following:
• Application Data Base Administration
• Data Architecture
5-7+ years’ experience in the following:
• Implementation of Physical DB2 databases
• Logical and Physical Database Design
• SPUFI, ISQL, QMF expertise
• DB2 utilities knowledge including Cross Loader
• Stored Procedure experience
• DB2 Performance Tuning
• Extract Transform Load (ETL) experience, bringing data in from other systems.
• Replication knowledge (QREP,SQLREP, others)
• MVS, PLI, JCL, SCLM
