    I'm pleased to say that my paper, "The SP theory of intelligence: distinctive features and advantages" (PDF, http://bit.ly/1WDRbJv) has been accepted for publication in IEEE Access (http://bit.ly/1In75Eo).

    Previous publications about the SP theory have concentrated on saying what is good about the theory. This paper is different. It aims to describe the ***distinctive features*** of the SP theory and, immodestly, the ***advantages*** of the SP theory
    compared with alternatives.

    There is a large section about problems with deep learning in artificial neural networks, and why the SP theory is better.
