US pledges an additional $100M for a multinational force
    awaiting deployment to violence-hit Haiti

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Monday announced
an additional $100 million to finance the deployment of a
multinational force to Haiti following a meeting with Caribbean
leaders in Jamaica to halt the country’s violent crisis.

Blinken also announced another $33 million in humanitarian
aid and the creation of a joint proposal agreed on by Caribbean
leaders and “all of the Haitian stakeholders to expedite a
political transition” and create a “presidential college.”

    . . .

    "Multi-National" means "almost entirely US".

Look, Haiti is a FAILED STATE. Can't get their
shit together. It's gonna be gangs, more gangs,
and endless gang violence/blood basically forever.

I've worked with Haitians before. They've all been
very smart. However there's clannish-ness to that.
Serious Haitian rivals must get The Chop. That
is the culture. Papa/Baby Doc kinda held it all
together for awhile - ruthlessly - but once
    they were gone .........

Haiti has no resources, cannot make anything useful,
no money, No Future, endless natural and human
disasters. Kinda needs to be turned into a Nature
Park and the whole pop dispersed to other locales.

The next US administration needs to keep us mostly
OUT of Haiti. Nothing to do there except suffer and
waste money. The only US interest seems to be finding
ways to keep waves of refugees from arriving on
    our shores.
