Go ahead and listen to those few, loud, squeaky wheels that the media is pushing. So what
if they need viewers and clicks? The great majority of Americans are seeing something
else. They're seeing a Republican Party in tatters once again trying to shut down the
government. The House and Senate are fighting between themselves and each other. The GOP
is so consumed with infighting they can't get anything done. Even Texas is struggling and
several state Parties are bankrupt. How are the Republicans going to win races when
donors are closing checkbooks and Trump is demanding the Party pay his legal fees?
The unemployment rate has been under 4% for two years running. That hasn't happened in
over half a century.
The labor participation rate is setting record highs overall and by demographic.
Black unemployment is at an all time record low. Black teen unemployment is at an all
time record low. Female unemployment is at an all time record low.
Wages are growing faster than inflation.
People are able to quit jobs they don't like because there are so many jobs available.
Before the pandemic, roughly 5 percent of the workforce worked from home. Now the figure
is close to 30 percent. That comes to more than 45 million people. These people are saving
themselves thousands of dollars a year in commuting costs and related expenses. In
addition, they are saving hundreds of hours a year they would have otherwise spent
commuting.
That helps keep gas prices low because of reduced demand *and* it helps families have more
time to spend together.
Workers in the bottom 20 percent of the wage distribution are seeing their pay grow faster
than those at the middle or top.
Homeownership is up. It's at 65.9% up from 65.1 percent in the fourth quarter of 2019,
just before the pandemic.
There's so much good economic news, there's too much to list!
And if you think the majority isn't noticing this, :) you'll see in November.

Joe has been FLOATING the economy in the run-up to
the elections. It's fake prosperity. If the Dems
retain power expect inflation to return with a
vengance, jobs to vanish en-masse, investments
to devalue and energy prices to go thru the roof
again. Joe has pretty much depleted our oil
reserves now ...
