"The President of the United States is the commander-in-chief of the
    District of Columbia National Guard."

    Refutation:

Did he not "request" the guard?

    Why yes... yes, he did.

    Why no. No he didn't.

Gen. Kellogg: Trump Did Request National Guard Troops on Jan. 6th; Asks
    Congress To Release His Testimony

"Keith Kellogg, Pence?s national security adviser who was also with
Trump that day, testified that he never heard the former President ask
for the National Guard or a law enforcement response.

    Old News.

    LOL... more bullshit liberal SEMANTICS.

    Never "heard".

    Newer news.

ANNNNND, I have a cite. Ski bunny, of course, did NOT provide a source, of course.

Retired U.S.. Army let. Gen. Keith Kellogg said last week that former president
Donald TRUMP DID IN FACT REQUEST NATIONAL GUARD TROOPS BE DEPLOYED IN WASHINGTON D.C. BEFORE THE BREACH OF THE U.S. CAPITOL
    on Jan. 6, 2021.

Kellogg said he was present at the time of Trump's request, and Congress should
release his testimony to the public.

    His testimony WAS released, loser:

    Page 49:

"Q[uestion] Did you ever talk to the President about having National
Guard troops at -- on standby for January 6th?

A[answer by Kellogg] No. And the reason I say no is I was thinking rally
hard [redacted name of the questioner]. In the entire five years, we
have never had a need for extra police or National Guard at any rallies
we had had in five years. We never had a single issue with a rally in
five years. So there was no reason for me to have said that because I
    had never seen that needed.

Q So, as somebody who works in the National Security space and with the National Security Council, if there were going to be troops present or
called up for a rally in Washington, DC, for example, is that something
    you would've been aware of?

    A Yeah, I would have."

And what it turns out is that your source is quoting hearsay by Kellogg,
which you can read all about starting on page 52.

At no time does Kellogg say that he was present when Trump made that
    request. Kellogg states as much:

"The first time I heard about it, going to, not in the book, but was on
    6th January."

    Read it and weep...

    ...loser
