He's really good at filing contempt motions.

Let's go through it slowly so people understand what it is.
Jack Smith filed 4,000 pages of discovery requests upon President Trump when he
wasn't supposed to, when he had an order that he knew had actual knowledge that
he was in violation of the stay order that Judge Chutkan had entered in the case. And President Trump has now said, that's enough.

How does providing discovery to Trump's lawyers burden them in any way?

You need to be held in civil contempt.

You need to be responsible for the attorney's fees that the President has incurred in answering this and we'll see what Judge Chutkan does in this case.

He didn't have to "answer" anything.

You should read Smith's response to Trump's motion:

'“The defendant claims that the Government intentionally violated the Court’s stay order, and promoted a political agenda, by fulfilling its continuing discovery obligations and voluntarily complying with
otherwise suspended deadlines. That is false,” federal prosecutors wrote
    in the Friday court filing.

“The Government has not violated — and never intentionally would violate — an order of the Court, and the defendant’s recycled allegations of partisanship and prosecutorial misconduct remain baseless,” they continued.

“Nothing here requires any action by the defendant, and he fails to
explain how the mere receipt of discovery materials that he is not
obligated to review, or the early filing of Government pleadings to
which he does not yet need to respond, possibly burdens him,”
    prosecutors said.

The filing claims the prosecution “did what it said it would do,” filing motions and discovery evidence in order to keep a potential trial on
track if Trump’s appeal fails. The case is scheduled to go to trial
    March 4.'

It doesn't. They aren't obliged to look at the material now.

    Yes they are.

Jack Smith thought Trump was just going to roll over and die.
Instead he keeps getting Trump's boot in his ass.

    Goose meet gander.

Except the the little problem that filing discovery doesn't violate the
    stay...

...for the reason that Jack Smith's reply elucidates:

'“Because the government’s actions do not require any response from the defendant, they do not ‘advance the case to trial or impose a litigation burden on the defendant,'” Smith said in the latest filing.'

And how many contempt motions has Smith filed in this case?

    Do you know of any?
