"A CNN host was left stunned when the network’s data analyst revealed
data that highlighted the true state of the economy under Democrat
    President Joe Biden.

During a Friday report, CNN’s Erica Hill after data reporter Harry Enten laid out the economic numbers that expose the reality of so-called “Bidenomics.”

As Enten explained the figures and broke the bad news to CNN’s viewers,
Hill remarked that Biden’s economy is “kind of depressing.”

Enten explained that, despite other economic metrics trending in positive directions, the decline in disposable income largely explains Americans’ bleak view of the economy.

“From the first year of a president’s term to now in a term, look at this,” he said.

    “We’ve actually had negative growth.

“We have actually decreased the amount of disposable income we’ve had,
    2.7% for the Biden administration.

“Look at that. The average for the president since JFK is plus 4.5
    percent.

“And even in the last few months, the last six months, the growth that we’ve had — just 0.2 percent.

“The average six months since 1960 [is] 1.1 percent, so we’re even behind on that metric.”

After hearing Enten spell doom for the economy, Hill said:

    “That’s kind of depressing.”

“It is kind of depressing,” Enten agreed.

“And the one last thing I’ll note — even wages here [are] not going up.

“Median wage: minus one [percent] since pre-pandemic, minus one [percent] since Biden’s first year.

    “Since last quarter? Zero percent.

“Wages have been stagnant for a long time and it’s continuing to be so.”

Inflation has ticked down from its high of more than nine percent in 2022
but remains higher than the Fed’s target rate of two percent.

Prices for rent, groceries, and transportation remain high, data from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis shows.

Total prices are up 17.2 percent since Biden took office in January
    2021."

CNN is no different than other media organizations. They are interested in viewership which
directly translates into advertising dollars. Of course CNN will try and push their left wing crap
for as long as they can but at some point they will see the writing on the wall and go where the
    money is.

Backing and attempting to cover for Joe Biden is a losing proposition. It's like betting on a 3
legged horse in the Triple Crown.
    A sure loser.
I still predict the democrats will deep six Joe Biden and move someone else into the nomination.
    Most likely Newsom.

Not at all. In order for a plaintiff to win a verdict in his favor in a defamation suit, what the defendant said about the plaintiff has to be found to be false. Nothing CNN said was false. In fact, CNN really didn't say anything *themselves* about the Nazi punk. What they did was report what Nathan Phillips said, and they accurately reported Phillips's comments.

CNN and the Post caved in too fast. They should have held out. The Nazi punk's suits against other news media, including the New York Times (the Gold Standard)
and Rolling Stone, were *thrown out* back in August by a federal appeals court.

    Oh.

    Free Republic.

It's a video of the show on CNN,
What's the difference who is hosting it?
Do you blame Youtube when you disagree with videos posted there?

The article is cleverly presented. I watched the video. The "negative growth" referred
    to is in disposable income.

Harry did not appear "stunned" at all. Neither did Erica. The facts presented in the
video are simple survey results, clearly presented. Such freshness as there was appeared
to be surprise that with so many economic indicators up, the public is still concerned.

Polls are polls. If Christmas shopping beats the inflation rate this year, there is
plenty of confidence and the economy is in good shape.

If Christmas sales drop, there's a recession.

The video isn't at the link provided by the poster but at this one:
    <https://slaynews.com/news/cnn-host-stunned-data-exposes-reality-bidenomics-depressing/>

DOW, NASDAQ and S&P 500 are all up, 200,000 new jobs and unemployment down to 3.7%.
    Inflation is down to 3.1%

So, why then do 71% of consumers in CNN's survey rate economic conditions poor?

I suspect part of the issue is the inflation is lingering in some part due to producers
simply increasing profits and prices. The market will settle that and soon enough they'll
have everything back in stock, begging you to buy it again.

    Swill

The reason the economy is rated poor is because people are actually hurting. And badly.
Numbers can be spun by either side and they are but people's opinions usually are a result of their
personal experience and people remember how well they were doing, economically, under Trump as
    compared to Biden.
I've watched a few on the street interviews with random people in NYC which is ultra left blue and
they for the most part are slamming Biden and not voting for him in 24. That's the reality that
    people are suffering with.

Because the ethnicity practicing Fascism considers *their* nation,

fracturing of the society can fracture the nation. Consider the
