    Again, I don't think DeSantis has the actual legal power.

    A week ago he proposed deporting pro-Hamas students.
    Deportation is a power reserved by the Fed, governors
    can't deport anybody.

    I think the best DeSantis can do here is suspend state
    FUNDING/cooperation with the affected colleges. The
    inevitable backlash is that OTHER colleges will jump
    in to support their "persecuted" fellow travelers.

    In short, this is good political posturing - but
    that's all.

    That's a lie, as is your subject line. Pro-Palestinian does not equate to pro-Hamas, and anyone who says it does is a racist liar.

    They say DeSantis is secretly pro Hamas and this is just a cover. If he wasn't pro Hamas, why is he letting them all protest? He's a sympathizer, straight and simple. Most of them in the shithole states identify with
    Hamas because they share values like this:


    Republicans oppose gay rights, muslims oppose gay rights.

    Republicans oppose womens rights, muslims oppose womens rights

    Republicans oppose gun control, muslims oppose gun control.

    Republicans oppose abortion, muslims oppose abortion.

    Republicans oppose liberal reforms, muslims oppose liberal
    reforms.

    Republicans oppose contraception, muslims oppose
    contraception.

    Republicans support executions, muslims support exections.

    Republicans support creationism, muslims support creationism.

    Republicans support school prayer, muslims support school
    prayer.
