Joe Biden was accompanied by his wife in what was clearly looked like an attempt to prevent the president from getting lost on stage.
The incident occurred after a very bizarre speech in which Biden bounced between speaking on “gay pride flags” and comparing himself to “a poor relative.”
The speech took place at the Human Rights Campaign National Dinner, a historically pro-Palestine and anti-conservative event.
At one point, the president begins by saying, “Who the hell,” to which he
then pauses, and continues, saying, “Not very presidential.”
“When a person can be married in the morning and thrown out of a
restaurant for being gay in the afternoon, something is still
fundamentally wrong in this country — and that still exists!” Biden added.
“Careful, I’m like a poor relative, I show up when I’m invited,” he went

“We just remember who we are! And we’re not the victim, and although we’re
good folks, we gotta stand up and holler!” he later pressed.
