Why isn't Pelosi being investigated?
The law(s) that put Buyer in prison, don't apply to Congress. They can do pretty much anything they want, regarding stock trading.
It's nice to exempt yourselves from laws that would put US in prison. And this is NOT a partisan issue. They ALL do it and they ALL made sure they could get away with it.
I don't mind them making money off stocks, but when they pass a LAW that benefits them later OR before the law is passed, THAT'S when they should go to jail.
It's hard to prove they meet with those who have the inside information and give it to Congressmen, so many go unpunished.

The practice is both legal and permitted under the ethics rules that Congress has written for itself, which allow lawmakers to take actions that benefit themselves or their families except when they are the lone beneficiaries. The financial disclosure system Congress has implemented also does not require the legislators to identify potential conflicts at the time that they take official actions that intersect or overlap with their investments.
