    https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/03/americas/flu-america-1918-masks-intl-hnk/index.html

While origin theories about the 1918 virus still abound, it was
assigned a country specific name: the Spanish Flu. Globalization
facilitated its spread as soldiers fighting in World War I took
the flu around the globe. Then as now, warehouses were repurposed
into quarantine hospitals. And an ocean liner with infected
    patients became a talking point.

But one notable difference is that it was the United States which
led the world in mask wearing.

In October 1918, as San Francisco received the pandemic’s second
wave, hospitals began reporting a rise in the number of infected
    patients.

On October 24, 1918, the city’s elected legislative body, the
Board of Supervisors of San Francisco, realizing that drastic
action needed to be taken with over 4,000 cases recorded,
unanimously passed the Influenza Mask Ordinance.

The wearing of face masks in public became mandatory on US soil
    for the first time.

If you think students are sycophants then you are not very bright.

Religion in public or private schools is indoctrination.

saying that taxpayers should determine education cirriculum is false
because taxpayers are not appropriately educated.

Too many taxpayers think the world is flat. Do we want Flat Earthers
    setting the geography courses?

Yet you tell us we should allow liberals to do exactly that. Where
feelings and opinion matter more than science, physics, fact or even
    proven history.

No, I don't say that. That claim is a conservaturd strawman.

Do we want Young Earthers setting the
    geology cirriculum?

Why not? They can present their case and educated people can rip it
apart just as your assertions are being ripped apart.

it's not practical to present EVERY lunatic theory as if it had merit.

Taxpayers believe all sorts of things that are
simply not true, because THEIR education failed them.

Which is why liberals jumped all over the mask mandate and tried to
force people to wear them everywhere.

Strange how fewer mask wearers died than those who refused to wear masks.

I said in 2020, let them not wear masks if they don't want to. Let them get sick and die.
That's fewer Trump votes in November. And it worked! Biden won the election.

    So, let them keep dying.

Everybody's working already, thus employers are struggling to fill positions in a tight
    labor market.

If there were no ads, that would be a bad sign because it would mean no jobs available.
