Time for Democrats to ADHERE to that famous James Carville quote.
Amen.
Well, we KNOW the Republican Congress of Bill Clinton was the reason Clinton did a good job of keeping the economy "in check"... so, why can't Biden and the Democrat Senate can do the same?

Democrats Question Whether It's The Economy Anymore, Stupid | The Hill
https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/4145927-democrats-question-whether- its-the-economy-anymore-stupid/
It's the economy, stupid. For decades, that's been seen as a sound political strategy behind every effective presidential campaign. Focus on the economy and people's pocketbooks - and get some good luck in terms of how the economy is actually running when you run for office - and voila: You get elected to the White House, and you win reelection.
The question a growing number of Democrats are asking, however, is whether that's still the case, as President Biden deals with low economic numbers and even lower approval ratings.
=====
"It's The Economy, Stupid." Really? Not With Biden and His Main Economic Lemming
The United States recorded a 40-year HIGH INFLATION RATE OF 8.5 PERCENT IN MARCH, which the Biden administration tried to pin on Russia President Vladimir Putin.(FAIL)
(this was from a year ago, but the economy is tanking again, so... Yes, it is... gas is back up 50 more cents in the last month)
However, even excluding energy and food, the number remains as high as 6.5 percent. Meanwhile, the labor market is reporting a 3.6 percent unemployment rate which is significantly lower than the long-term average of 5.75 percent. The U.S. economy looks overheated and needs to be cooled down with tightened monetary policies, agreed upon by economists, both doves and hawks.
However, economists have divergent opinions on how urgent the situation is and the potential costs of quantitative tightening. The doves, including pansy-ass pussy little mommy's boy, Nobel Laureate economist Paul Krugman, pointed out in his recent New York Times articles that the leading causes for the high inflation are transitory, such as the Ukraine war (Biden's bribery), supply chain disruption(Biden's fault) and rising worker restiveness.
Now that the Biden administration has released millions of barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, the oil price should stabilize soon.(nope)
On the other hand, the hawks are less optimistic about the prospects. Former U.S. Secretary of Treasury and National Economic Council Director Lawrence Summers, believes previous stimulus packages have made the economy dangerously overheated.
Thank you President Biden!

It's The Economy, Stupid
Biden Is Hoping Voters Ignore Reality And Buy Into The Distractions
(Cart before the horse time, but this little cunt deserves it)
Translation: They don't have a clue of how to bring down inflation. But they are hoping they can distract you by blaming "wealthy corporations."
(taxing "wealthy corporations" more, is NOT going to cause the economy to rebound... it will WORSEN)
"The economy, stupid." That was the sign in the campaign headquarters of then- Gov. Bill Clinton in 1992. The incumbent president was perceived as being out of touch with the plight of many Americans. In contrast, the Clinton campaign focused on the economy and won.
That phrase came to mind last week when the current Democratic president posted a tweet saying, "You want to bring down inflation? Let's make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share." On Monday, the new White House press secretary was asked, "How does raising taxes on corporations reduce inflation?"
Karine Jean-Pierre's lame response is worth repeating: "Look, you know, we have talked about - we have talked about this past year, about making sure that the wealthiest among us are paying their fair share. And that is important to do. And that is something that, you know, the president has been, you know, working on every day when we talk about inflation and lowering costs."
"And so it's very important that, you know, as we're seeing costs rise, as we're talking about how to, you know - you know, build an America that is safe, that's equal for everyone, and doesn't leave anyone behind, that is an important part of that as well."
That weak response was followed by this obvious question: "But how does raising taxes on corporations lower the cost of gas, the cost of a used car, the cost of food for everyday Americans?"
Ms. Jean-Pierre's response was just as bad as the first time: "So, look, I think we encourage those who have done very well - right? - especially those who care about climate change, to support a fairer tax - tax code that doesn't change - that doesn't charge manufacturers" workers, cops, builders a higher percentage of their earnings; that the most fortunate people in our nation - and not let the - that stand in the way of reducing energy costs and fighting this existential problem, if you think about that as an example, and to support basic collective bargaining rights as well. Right? That's also important."

Holier-than-thou LIBERAL Canadians, think they're soooo superior when it comes to slavery, because they "ended" it (not really) a mere 30 years earlier.
Canada "ended" slavery a mere 30 years before Lincoln wrote the "Emancipation Proclamation".
HOW does that make Canada ANY "better" or different? It doesn't.
