    Six In Ten Californians See Racism As A Big Problem

    Views across racial/ethnic groups somewhat mirror overall findings. About eight in ten African Americans (79%), 65% of Latinos, and 55% of Asian Americans say racism is a big problem Today - , compared to fewer whites (46%). These shares were somewhat similar a year ago (86% African Americans, 71% Latinos, 57% Asian Americans, 50% whites).

    =====

    Slavery was abolished last in the South, but that doesn't mean racial animus is a "Southern" thing. Where have the most "race" riots happened?

    Where else, but the Northern latitudes.

    Reconstruction after the Civil War does seem to be a hot spot for the South, but look at the other places.** Asterisks denote NORTHERN for you dumbass Nawthunuhs.

    There are an overwhelming number of "racial incidences" in the North, as opposed to the South. How can that be? California and South of Orlando
    SHOULD be counted as North. There aren't too many crackers left down and out there, respectively.

    Remember the asterisks, mean NORTHERN climes.

    Blacks are less than one in ten californians. So most of the six
    in ten are not black and still see racism as a problem.

    What that really means is that maybe three in ten californians who
    are chicano see racism as problem. Given historic discrimination
    in California it means it's a problem not yet solved. It might
    also be federally sanctionned republican racism spills into the state.
