Well... this post's holiday greeting is for the United States.
But Merry Christmas to the rest of the world too.

And to you. ;)
By the way, Marek Novotny asked me to say "hi" to yourself, to Jonathan
and to Bit Twister. ;)

Really? Since absence rumored of his death. If not true then wish him
well and health and that he is missed. I've lost too many friends this
past year...covid is real.
Merry Christmas all.

He's alive and well, but he has completely abandoned Usenet after
having been stalked for years by a number of psychotic trolls from comp.os.linux.advocacy. As such, he locked down his domain, changed his email address, and basically went into hiding.

You posted a msg in a.o.l 2019 Dec 19 about Marek's departure in
which you mentioned that he had given you his scripts. At that time
you didn't know where you might post them.
I don't know if you ever found such a parking place, but I would be interested in seeing or having such as his VPN scripts.

he was working on it, I gave him some feedback he recognized along
w/ that of others in his comments section. Over the years I've
done some searching, but there has been so much MN flak that
pollutes the searching that I've been unsuccessful.
If email would be convenient for you, you can use nntp.nym <at>
gmail.com for me.

I had, but unfortunately, that was a small amount of free web space at
my ISP, which they have now discontinued, after having offered that to
their customers for over 20 years.
For now, I have parked his scripts on my Google Drive. Maybe I'll be
able to share them with you that way. I'll have to look into it
later.
