Prefer a no lock in contract if possible, speed, and 100% privacy.

Using Mulvad but their Wireguard servers won't render some pages.

    Thoughts?

I am using protonVPN on router. What kind of privacy you think when they intercept your web traffic?

Not as far as I know a privacy issue, but they won't do anything about
the DNS cache on the wireguard servers. (Well, that's what they tell
    me!)

You don't have to use their dns server... try 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, if just
    dns that should work...

Thanks, I must have missed that setting. You know, I complained to
them about the cache issues, which they agreed were a problem, but they
    didn't point me to that.

Will see how it goes, much obliged.

Later, weird, I installed the Google DNS settings in Mulvad VPN, using wireguard the website I want won't connect, not using wireguard on the
    VPN it does connect.

The only thought I have is to ask if there is some special feature of
Ubuntu which renders a "normal" VPN useless ?

I realise that a VPN which works with any Microsoft product has to be
villified as a matter of principle, but I would be interested to know if
there is a genuine technical problem.

I'm using Nordvpn and their wireguard protocol is called NordLynx...you
can also use openvpn if you desire.

I been a Nordvpn user for over 5 years, if I've had an issue their tech
support is top notch....The main selling point was they are headquartered
in Panama...so no way the 5 Eyes or 6 Eyes cannot demand anything from Nordvpn....plus the have a total zero log policy.....outstanding
    privacy....

Any current issues with Nord? Couldn't get it to run on Ubuntu 18.04 a
while back, and they gave me a refund.

Works fine on 20.04. Can't remember if I used it on 18.04.

    Thanks I will try.
