• Gnome Desktop/Theme

    For some reasons on one of my systems, the icons have all changed. I
    think it is to do with some themes but does anybody know what could it
    be? See these two pictures:

    I want everything to look like picture 2 - in colour, of course.

    Can you give me step by step instructions to reset the look and feel of
    the first machine.

    The system is Ubuntu 20.04.4 fully updated.

    That looks like high contrast.

    I don't have a Ub up, so I don't have instructions to check it.

    I sort of hate Gnome since 30.x but I would say you need to explore the Utilities looking for theme and icon choices. If you
    have High Contrast set you might want to turn that off. If things
    were sensibly named under Gnome you migh look for Gnome settings.
