  • VNC keyboard layout problem

    when I connect to my VPS with any VNC viewer, I can't get my local
    keyboard layout in VPS-Ubuntu?

    How to repair this?

    What VNC client can setup this?

    Maybe that is controlled by the machine you connect to. Please run
    setxkbmap en (or whatever language you want) and see if that helps.

    Only Gnome Boxes is ok, all others can't be setup.

    setxbmap -query etc id ok, but problem stay, only Boxes works

    Maybe it already brings a software to change the keyboard layout.

    Do you sue X or Wayland?
    setxkbmap is intended for X, I don't know if it works for Wayland.

    Yes, my IBM model M can do that if I press the in the wrong order when
    writing quickly.
