connections are encrypted and hidden. No one, not even me the admin,

alt.hackers is different - you need to have an obligatory hack. It
doesn't have to be computer related.

Traditiohally alt.hacker is white-hat, whereas alt.hackers.malicious is black-hat.

and hidden.

that's interesting. I haven't done much with tor, familiar enough with
the concept. Basically a SOCKS proxy with one or more intermediate
routing servers and anonymizing endpoint. Yeah, I should config Xchat
to use it, just for grins, see what happens...

I use Linux on my server, but I mainly use Windows on the desktop, and old versions of Mac OS. And DOS. I believe Bob is at least as familiar with Linux as I am (probably moreso) but he seems to be more of a BSD guy (which I have minimal non-Mac experience with).
