Note that his conviction was from 10 years earlier...
It's highly likely that he carried a weapon for SELF DEFENSE, and after
having expressed support for Trump, he got ARRESTED.
(A 2nd rapper, Kodak Black, also was pardoned for weapons charges)
It seems to ME that these were 2nd Ammendment pardons!
