seems the most likely possibility. However, so far, there have been no
Marines or other personnel who have come forward to report any such thing
about Oswald studying Russian, learning Russian, speaking Russian. There
is simply no observer of any of that who has come forward.

I think we have to seriously consider the possibility that a bait and
switch was pulled off, that the guy we are calling Lee Harvey Oswald was
someone else.
Keep in mind that it has no bearing our work because the Man in the
Doorway was definitely the Lee Harvey Oswald who was arrested in the Texas >> Theater, held for two days, and then summarily executed by Jack Ruby.
Still, it would be nice to know who he was. And it all centers on one
thing: How did Oswald learn to speak Russian?
Oswald was married to a Russian.
The very best way to learn any language is to have a Significant Other
whose primary language it is.

What the kook doesn't explain, and *cannot* explain, is how Oswald
spoke it so well when he *MET* his wife to be, that she thought he was
simply from another area of Russia...

Mrs. PORTER. Yes. He spoke with accent so I assumed he was maybe from
another state, which is customary in Russia. People from other states
do speak with accents because they do not speak Russian. They speak
different languages.

state?
Mrs. PORTER. Yes, like Estonia, Lithuania, something like that.
Now, either this kook "Sandy McCroskey" is simply ignorant of the
evidence in this case (which is amazingly common among Warren
Commission defenders) - or "Sandy McCroskey" is a liar.
I put my money on the latter...
