I'm really not tied up with anybody, although I plan to stay on the Usenet for a couple of reasons.

First, posting on the Usenet gets more coverage by search engines than private google groups.
That means a bigger audience. That means more people see my posts.

Second, I'm not afraid to have to "pay-to-play" when it comes to getting my message out there.
I pay a yearly fee for my website where I post whatever new documents I find. Last month alone, 2,000 people visited my website.

Third, if I go to a private google group, like the pied piper, the Lone Nut rats will surely follow.
By staying on the Usenet with a newsreader that allows me to killfilter the Lone Nut assholes and spammers, I don't have to put up with their stupid shit anymore.
And that's worth $ 2.95 a month any day of the week.

So yeah, I'll keep a watch on your group from time to time and maybe even stop by from time to time to see how everybody's doing.
But for now at least, I'm going to stay on the Usenet.
