• Silly Gilly reaches new depths of stupidity

From John Corbett@21:1/5 to All on Tue Oct 24 08:30:47 2023
In his series of whiny, inane questions he has directed at Hank, he actually demanded to know where Oswald bought the ammo for his Carcano and
.38 Special revolver. Is the dumbass even aware that gun shops do not
keep records of who buys ammo. Since Oswald had no checking account
credit cards, it is likely he would have paid cash for his ammo and therefore there would be no paper trail whatsoever of his ammo purchase.

This demonstrates perfectly how desperate Gil is to exonerate Oswald by
making ridiculously impossible demands of proof, demands that would not
be required in any other criminal case. Nobody who is seeking the truth of
the JFK assassination would ever ask such inane questions but Gil has
never shown any indication he is interested in the truth.

    That's a lie.
The FBI found one gunshop that kept a record of all ammunition sold by mail. ( CD 205, pg.84 )

So that proves that at least some gunshops DID keep records of ammunition sales.

Not to mention that the ammo wasn't common... only a few places even
carried it, and it wouldn't be difficult to remember that they'd sold
    some.

Which leaves how many that didn't keep such a record? What was the purpose of your asinine
    question?

So that proves that at least some gunshops DID keep records of ammunition sales.

It proved that ONE did. It's possible others did. Did they keep a record of WHO bought the ammo? I've always bought my ammo at a brick and mortar store. I buy everything by credit
card which would show I made a purchase at a particular gun store but wouldn't show what
I bought. Oswald had no credit cards and no checking account. He paid for things either with
case or money orders. If he paid buy cash, most gun stores would have absolutely no record
that he had even been in their store. So what was the purpose of your question? What does a
lack of a paper trail for Oswald's ammo purchase prove?

Now everyone knows who the dumbass is.

Yes, we do and his initials are GJ.

Kept track of customers who bought things from them by mail.

So out of tens of thousands of gun shops, you can rule out one having sold Oswald ammunition, by mail only.

An outlier, and disingenuous to boot. Clearly he was talking about walking into a gunshop and purchasing ammo.
