The video begins with an oxymoron, "It is a logical assumption...". There is nothing logical about
assumptions. Assumptions are conclusion made in lieu of evidence. There is nothing logical
about that. Huntley seems to have assumed that because Dallas was a hotbed of far right
radicals that must have been the reason JFK was assassinated there. As it turned out, the
murder was committed by a far left radical for reasons known only to himself. We don't even
know if he had a hatred of JFK. There is no evidence this was personal. There are a number of
possible explanations for Oswald to kill JFK that would not require a personal hatred of the man.
While we can speculate as to Oswald's motive(s), there is no way any of us can ever know what
drove Oswald to do what he did.

This editorial by Chet Huntley was hardly his finest hour. I'm not sure he had a finest hour during
the years he teamed with David Brinkley for the nightly NBC News report. He was definitely the
weaker half of that team. Brinkley proved to be the far more consequential member of the team
after the two of them ended their tenures as NBC's co-anchors. Brinkley provided on air editorials
for NBC' nightly news before moving on to ABC where he hosted the long running and popular
    Sunday morning panel discussion program.

Google Bard calls you a liar.

Is the term "logical assumption" an oxymoron?

    ***********************************************************
Whether or not the term "logical assumption" is an oxymoron depends on
how you define the terms "logical" and "assumption."

Logical means based on or in accordance with the principles of logic.

Assumption is something that is accepted as true or as likely to be
    true without proof.

A logical assumption is therefore an assumption that is based on or in accordance with the principles of logic.

Some people might argue that a logical assumption is an oxymoron
because an assumption is, by definition, something that is not known
to be true. In this sense, any assumption, even a logical one, could
    be considered a contradiction.

However, others might argue that a logical assumption is not an
oxymoron because it is possible to make assumptions that are based on
evidence and that are consistent with the rules of logic. For example,
if I assume that the sun will rise tomorrow, I am making a logical
assumption because this assumption is based on evidence from the past.

Ultimately, whether or not a logical assumption is an oxymoron is a
    matter of definition.

In my opinion, the term "logical assumption" is not an oxymoron. I
believe that it is possible to make assumptions that are based on
evidence and that are consistent with the rules of logic. However, it
is important to note that all assumptions are still assumptions, and
they should therefore be carefully examined. *************************************************************

And unlike Huxkster - who posts Google Bard comments that are PLAINLY
AND OBVIOUSLY wrong, I stand by this answer.

    They show their hypocrisy here.

In another post, I wrote "The political literature implicates Oswald due to the political nature of the murder."

The Forum Troll`s comment to this was "He's also been completely unable to show any "political nature" of the
crime. It's mere speculation based on the victim."

So Gil can speculate without evidence that because certain groups disliked Kennedy then they must be connected to his assassination, but the reasonable assumption that the assassination was politically motivated needs to be challenged.

Chickenshit is TERRIFIED of this simple honest question. He knows

get Chickenshit to publicly acknowledge that Bugliosi said this.

It's a simple "Yes" or "No" question, and Chickenshit cannot cite
where he has EVER answered it. (Without immediately denying it.)

So it's going to keep getting asked until Chickenshit answers it.

Yes. Capital is the god replacement in godless capitalism. It's not hate that killed Kennedy. It's LOVE, love of money, and money is power.
