    You would have to hack the google groups system in order to do what is claimed. You can't change someone's name by having them respond to your post. What are you doing with your posts that changes anything at google or on another person's computer?

    You would have to hack the google groups system in order to do what is claimed. You can't change someone's name by having them respond to your post. What are you doing with your posts that changes anything at google or on another person's computer?

    Why would I bother? What benefit do I get changing Gil`s name to "alt.conspiracy.jfk"? And if I could do that, wouldn`t I change it to something I found funny, like "DumbAsAStump" or something like that?
