Don't be silly. He ducked into the theater, without paying for a ticket, because he cops were
searching the area for a cop killer and he knew he was the one who killed the cop. Had
Brewer not spotted him acting suspiciously and then sneaking into the theater, he might have
    gotten away for a time.

Just one: the supposed "torn dollar bill" mentioned above never existed. Oswald had one *half dollar* - a Franklin 50 cent piece - on him when arrested/processed. He had 87 cents in change - a 50 cent piece, 3 dimes, 1 nickel, and 2 pennies. Plus one $5
dollar bill and eight $1 dollar bills. The "1 half dollar" was turned into a torn dollar bill by conspiracists. Here: https://texashistory.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metapth340292/m1/1/?q=Lee%20Oswald%20money

But to end up in that theater, didn't someone have to have instructed him to meet a contact there?
    No.

Lee had given Marina $10 for new shoes. Ruth testified that she and Marina had intended to go shoe shopping in the afternoon of Nov 22. It did not happen because of the arrival of police.

I seems to me that Oswald had organized to meet them in Oak Cliff after work where there were at least 3 shoe shops within walking distance of the TT. When he realized or was told there would no more work that day, he most likely phoned Ruth either from
work or from Oak Cliff, to see if they could meet him earlier than planned. Ruth for her part, probably said no, that she has to stick to the original plan and suggested he go watch a movie to kill some time until they got there. She then phoned the
cops to tell them their suspect was hiding out in the TT. According to Asst DA Jim Bowie, Postal's call was not the only one they got. And her call was to report a teenager sneaking in. That is why one or two cops came through the front and up to the
balcony and why a separate bunch, armed to the teeth, went in through the back.

There is a report of a cop talking to a teenager on the balcony stairs. This has been conflated with a witness (Applin) being taken out the back and taken in a squad car to go give a statement. There are two other reports of Oswald being arrested in the
balcony. More confusion because of the two separate incidents and two separate calls.

When he realized or was told there would no more work that day, he most likely phoned Ruth either
from work or from Oak Cliff, to see if they could meet him earlier than planned.

There are two other reports of Oswald being arrested in
the balcony. More confusion because of the two separate incidents and two separate calls.

Peter Dale Scott should read this.

Would you like me to come around and put your nose back into it's joint?
Well, I just meant that Scott might want to know that Oswald went to the movies because he was going to buy shoes for Junie. That's why he went to Johnny's shoe store first. He was scoping out shoes for Junie before the movie. But then when the police
car came by, he got all spooked because he was afraid the cops might think he was robbing the shoe store. So he sneaked into the movie show to hide out in there until Ruth and Marina showed up so that they could all buy shoes together, looking like a
family and not a shoe store thief. But when the cops came in to arrest him for robbing the shoe store, well he just had to pull his gun and try to shoot them, else he would be arrested for robbing a shoe store he didn't rob. And remember, this is 1963
Texas. They'd hang you for robbing a shoe store, even if you didn't. Might as well go down shooting. Sir Peter Dale Scott needs to know this. He's certainly not smart enough to figure it out all by himself. Who but Greg Parker could be?
