• Vincent Bugliosi's 53 Reasons - #44 - Refuted

From Ben Holmes@21:1/5 to All on Fri Jul 21 07:15:14 2023
    (44) Oswald's work clipboard was found on the sixth floor of the TSBD.

After an extensive search - this clipboard suddenly appeared a week
later. Other than the obvious fact that Oswald *WORKED* there, and
should therefore have such items... there's nothing about this
clipboard that shows him to be a murderer.

Would the 'finding' of any other order-filler employee's clipboard
    'prove' him guilty of murder?

    Logical fallacy deleted.

Sorry stupid, but if each piece of evidence BY ITSELF doesn't
demonstrate a crime, it suddenly cannot gain that ability when tossed
    in with anything else.

Make an argument, or run like a coward... who cares?

That's not the point. The fact they found it ***AND*** it showed NO ORDERS FILLED that morning form a PART of the CUMULATIVE CASE that Oswald was fiercely working on something the morning NOT WORK related. (Uhhh...like maybe a Snipers Nest.) Hence it
is a single piece of FURTHER *circumstantial* evidence to show LHO was a guilty man. Does it alone "prove" anything. No. Does it TOGETHER with everything else point CLEARLY in his direction? YEPPER!!!

You are using the ploy of the non-denial denial. As defined by Ben Bradlee (close friend of JFK)
in the movie All The President's Men, "That's when they question our ancestry but don't say our
story isn't right.". Unable to impeach Bugliosi's arguments regarding the evidence against
Oswald, you resort to character assassination. Whatever character flaws Bugliosi may or may
not have had don't invalidate what he learned in researching Reclaiming History for almost 20
years. Two things can be true at the same time. Bugliosi could be an SOB and his research into
the JFK assassination could be impeccable. If you have problems with the latter, why do you
    focus on the former?

He does seem to have had some serious personal flaws though. Too bad. I know DVP is a big Bugs fan, but I've always thought VB was a bit arrogant. Doesn't change the impact of his writings on the JFK assassination one bit though.

MLK Jr. did a tremendous amount to move civil rights issues forward in the 60s. He also was a creep and cheated on his wife regularly.

Duke Cunningham was a Vietnam War American fighter ace and decorated pilot. He was also convicted of tax fraud, wire fraud, mail fraud and bribery, and sentenced to a long prison sentence.

Life is complicated, Gil. The list of people with real accomplishments that also have personal flaws or committed crimes that seem out of character when measured against their triumphs is a very long list.

What does it say about the man's credibility ?
I don't even LIKE the man. He was an extreme Liberal and could be a a petty whining virulently anti-Christian agnostic. (No slap at all agnostics, just Bugliosi and ones like him.) But even a broken analogue clock is right twice a day, and in the case
of LHO, he was pretty much spot on. Attack the *full* argument he makes here, not the man.

Life is complicated, people are complicated. Bugliosi once claimed there was "conclusive evidence" Sirhan Sirhan didn't act alone in the RFK assassination:

    What say you, Ben Holmes?

Yes, everything has been posted before.

Gil and you claim we can judge Bugliosi's JFK work by his creepy personal behavior. Does that hold true for his RFK work?

You just wrote this: "Moron, aren't you? A man's credibility is ALWAYS relevant to what he
    reports."

    No, that's simply not true.

The answer to my question about the WC and Mrs. Tice, as merely one

He claimed the milkman was hitting his wife and that his kid was really the milkman's.
Reminds me of the story about the housewife (are we still allowed to use that term?) who
coaxed the milkman inside then led him to the bedroom where they made love. Afterwards,
she fixed breakfast for him. After finishing the meal, she gave him a dollar. Perplexed, the

    Bugliosi was a fucking kook.
    And here's the proof:

    https://youtu.be/2wPIng0hGxQ

    see also: >>>https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/true-crime-ep-53-vincent-bugliosi-was-a-creep/id1495280879?i=1000536832053

    and: >>>https://atwaatwar.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/the-vince-bugliosi-story-16-3-mb.pdf

According to this evidence, Bugliosi was guilty of:

abusing the power of his office
    falsification of evidence
    perjury in his sworn depositions
complicity in the obstruction of justice
    slander of innocent people

What does it say about the man's credibility ?
More importantly, what does it say when Bugliosi's biggest fan in this
forum ABSOLUTELY REFUSES to defend him? Von Penis is TERRIFIED of
this series - and simply refuses to respond to most of them.

    Why should he...

He shouldn't... defending his hero is what an honest man would do. Von
    Penis isn't an honest man.
