• Why 'conspiracies' fail

    Hi NG

after observing several odd things I came to the conclusion, that
    certain plots fail.

    But why is that?

In my oppinion the perpetraitors violate certain rules:

    1) don't repeat a trick

It might be a good idea, if some groups try to replicate former successes.

But it is, in my oppinion, a guaranty for a failiour, because once you
do that, people are used to it from the first instance and will find countermeasures against the second one.

This will not only be a failor of the second plot, but also invalidate
    the gain of the first.

    2) take control of the idiots

Some people are smarter than others, but some are actually not. Now
idiots tend to turn everything they touch into a bloody mess. So don't
    let them control something important.

    3) no bullshit science

You may cheat others and you may eventually cheat yourself, but you will
    never ever cheat nature.

4)do not depend too much on technology

Technology may eventually make things easier. But to use technology in a
plot would require, that this technology is under the sole control of
    the perpetraitors.

Now the existence of hidden technology will most likely trigger kind of
'rat race', where the others like to catch up in technology. This will
force the development of new technologies.

And this goes on and on.

But every twist in this race will make the advantages decline, if some
    new technology is found.

This can be seen everywhere. Let's take the first PCs for instance. The
first PCs were quite crude devices in our current understanding, but
brought big advantages to those, who were able to use them.

Then PCs become faster and faster, but the advantage gained by higher
    speed in competion declined.
