• How do you do less of an Irfanview zoom out keyboard minus key

On Windows Irfanview, pressing the minus key while viewing an image will
zoom out a default amount, but how do you zoom out less than that amount?

Zoom option in the settings. You should look through
there, and the menu. There are an astonishing number
    of options.

In [Options], click [Properties/Settings...], click [Zoom options],
change [Zoom step] from 10% to 1%.

Thank you for that settings as Irfanview generally does everything.

Can you expound on what it means to set "Zoom calculation method" options?

    (1) Relative step
    (2) Absolute step
    (3) Use fixed table 1;2;3;10;14;16;19;21;25;28;33;38;43;50;57;66;76;87;100;115;132;150;174;200;230;260;300;350;400;450;500;600;700;800;900;1000;1200;1400;1600;2000;3000;

Specifically if I zoom out 10% "relative step", how is that different from zooming out 10% "absolute step?"

And what does the "fixed table" actually do?

Thanks for that information where the Irfanview help forum is lacking on
detail since it just tells you what's there but not how it works.

Just Alt++ or Alt+- zoom in and out. There are others on the Alt key but I'm too pissed to look!

Actually all that is needed to zoom is + or minus to zoom in or out.

I just tried the alt++ and alt+- keys and they did nothing in Irfanview
4.62 but I think it used to be Alt+ and Alt- in the older Irfanview.

Recently I think it was changed to just the + and - keys to zoom.

The OP's question wasn't about that though.
The OP's question was about how to set the step size for that + or - zoom.
