• Win 10 .NET Framework installs again and again

From Jo-Anne@21:1/5 to All on Sat Jul 15 11:18:45 2023
On July 11 and July 13, the same .NET Framework updates were "successfully" installed, each time
    with a different KB number.

    7/11: Cumulative update for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.8 and 4.8.1 for Windows 10 version 22H2 for x64
    (KB5027538)

    7/13: Same (KB5028937)

7/15 (today): 4.8.1 is supposed to be installed after a restart (KB5011048)

These multiple installs of what appears to be the same update(s) is new behavior on my computer.
Should I be concerned? Should I do anything about it?

    They are not identical.
    Search the two KB numbers.

Don't you think that perhaps if they were the same updates, they'd have the same KB
    number?

I subscribe to Ask Woody, and its editor asked whether Windows users were seeing multiple reboots.
Several people responded yes, and all had to do with .NET Framework. It's an unusual Update
situation, which is why I was concerned.
