    I wrote this on another group concerning Anti Virus
    programs. I thought is might also be of
    interest here too:

    I usually will stick with the M$ built in stuff, unless
    there is some particular reason for extra security. In
    that case I sell ESET Internet Security. It has a small
    footprint and does not aggravate the user with useless
    popups. And it is relatively easy for me to resell.
    It is not any better than most and most will do fine.
    I just recommend staying away from Panda, Norton, and
    McAfee for technical problems.

    Watchguard bought Panda. Oh boy do they have their
    work cut out for them!!! Watchguard makes
    awesome firewalls and has excellent tech support.

    ESET has some cool features:

    1) it will let you scan for devices surrounding you
    on your network

    2) it has a firewall learning mode. You switch it
    on, run your client server apps that are being
    blocked by ESET's firewall, save the result and
    you are ready to go. It is sweet! Saves you hours
    trying to figure out what to allow and what not to.

    3) America based tech support. They are not Americans
    though (H1b visa) but they do speak English rather well.

    A lot of tech support articles will only give you
    a few of the ports. That is if you can even find
    the article. And a lot of tech support techs do
    not know what TCP and UDP are.

    Have you told them of your invention not to use FAST STARTUP"? Of course
    you need to tell them in English.

    You also need to disable fast startup to get maximum benefit. Customers
