Occasionally, an update will have an additional notice during the
    restart process indicating a cleanup.
    - that type of notice is usually related to clearing out the
junk(useless, no longer needed Windows files).

When a system appears to be slower(real or perceived) it's a good idea
to run a few system tools using the DISM command in an admin
    window(Command or Powershell)

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    - RestoreHealth only necessary if(Check and/or Scan) indicate need.

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
    - likewise, StartComponentCleanup only necessary if recommended by the Analyze result

You can access Resource Monitor by

    Start : Run : resmon

If Memory Compressor is using CPU, in the CPU section, this
means there are Hard Faults and a shortage of memory. This may be
reflected in the Memory plot in Task Manager.

And that's why reporting your available physical memory,
helps with reports like this one.

Generally speaking, Windows Update activities, they
use memory. And this is because aspects of Windows Update
from the WinXP era, still exist.

But really, in this example, Memory Compression isn't taking
too much of a toll. The disk activity I see here though, might irritate matters.

If you want to count files, you can use Agent Ransack, select
the C: drive for the search, then leave the filename field blank,
and it will match on all files. And that will give some idea
    how many files you've got.

    On my C: drive right now, I count 257,000 files , and I don't
think Visual Studio is on here (the Installer is here, but I
don't think I finished installing with it). 517,000 files
are on the other boot partition (a Win10). The number of
files, doesn't tell you where they came from.

The only true "Gunk" that exists, is between
your wife's legs and deep inside her cunt.

Tell her to improve her cunt hygiene or next
time you will slap her in the face if her cunt
stinks. Be a fucking man about it!

My ISP's usenet doesn't have that newsgroup. I can't find it in groups.google.com web site too. :(

news.mixmin.net:563 (uses TLS only, no port 119)

It's a shared server, with other services on it,
and the USENET part does not get a lot of attention.

    http://www.mixmin.net/map.png

It lacks curated web pages with instructions.

But, it's a server for your collection. Until
the LetsEncrypt certificate expires on it, and
it rolls over and plays dead.

Have you asked them to add it? That's what many of us have to do when a

It's probably best not to promote Mixmin at this point in time [1].

It's being heavily abused and the 'admin' doesn't seems to be doing much/anything about it. Some admins have depeered it or are
    contemplating depeering it.

[1] Not that I would promote rogue sites like Mixmin at any other time.
