    <h4>Description:</h4>
<p>Oracle has recently released support for Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure (OCI) SDK v3 for Java (also known as version 3.0.0
for Java), and we recommend that you upgrade to the latest
    version.</p>
<h4>How will this affect my service?</h4>
<p>There will be no impact to your service. You may continue to use
previous versions of the OCI SDK for Java in your environments
without any impact on current functionality.</p>
<p>We will continue to support OCI SDK v2 for Java for a period of
six months until June 13, 2023. During this six-month period, the
v2 version will be supported in conjunction with the new OCI SDK
v3 for Java, so that you will have sufficient time to upgrade to
    v3.</p>
<p>Post-June 13, 2023: There will still be no impact to your
service, and you may continue to use previous versions of the OCI
SDK for Java. However, you will no longer receive weekly updates
for new services, latest features, and bug fixes in older versions
    including v2.</p>
<p>After this date, OCI SDK v2 for Java will enter maintenance mode
for a period of 12 months, during which updates to this version
will be limited to addressing critical bug fixes and security
patching. Following this 12 month maintenance mode, updates to the
OCI SDK v2 for Java will be discontinued.</p>
<h4>Are there any actions I need to take?</h4>
<p>Yes. We highly recommend that you upgrade to the OCI SDK v3 for
Java to continue receiving weekly support for new services, latest
    features, and bug fixes.</p>
