Every so often, when I launch Windows 10 it comes up with "Let's
complete setting you up", which apparently would involve a whole load of things I don't want it to do. So I always click on "Remind me in three
days". Fortunately it seems to be more like three weeks before it
happens again, but it's still becoming a bit tedious. If instead I click
on "Continue", can I tell it not to do any of the things it's
threatening me with, or will it - as I fear - do some or all of them regardless of my wishes?

First reply in this has a fix.

says my system is not worthy of running W11
When I see these screens I click, Continue, and answer negatively to all screens that want me to create a Window email, install some software, or
what ever they are trying to add to my computer.
Does It work?  While I see that screen periodically, I only see it once
or twice every 2 or 3 months.

"Windows 10 really wants you to use Edge, and OneDrive, and Windows
Hello, and other things that you may or may not want to use. After
booting, it may pop up a blue screen headed 'Let's finish setting up
your device'. If you've already set things up the way you want them,
this is just an annoyance.
"To suppress that reminder, start Settings, then select System »
Notifications & actions and remove the check mark in the box labeled
'Suggest ways I can finish settings up my device to get the most out
of Windows'."
the notification& Action I do not see the statement in my installation.

Odd. I found it on my Windows 22H2 19045 with no trouble. (Different number after the dot, but I doubt that could explain it.)

There's an on-off toggle for "Get notifications from apps and other
senders", and next there's a group of six check boxes. The one you
want is next to last in that group.

Small size.

Lack of metadata.
Check with Hex editor, only the first few characters are text
I have tried to "clean" JPGs before, and just
am not happy with the process. A GIF is crude enough,
to be more trustworthy.
The OS knows the WxH of the image, but this is
derived, rather than read out from EXIF or the like.

Yes, of course. I only worry when posting a photo taken with my phone.
