Does anyone here use PDF Studio Pro? I can't seem to do anything.

    They don't have a forum.

I have a PDF document I want to edit.

Maybe I would be better off converting the original pdf document** to a
Word document?? And just using Word or LibreOffice?

**Back to asking about PDF Studio Pro:

I took a PDF document and used PDF Studio to OCR it, but now I'm stuck
    -- I can't edit it.

I try to follow the directions in Help.

But when I select text I want to delete, and I click Delete, everything
    disappears.

When I try to type in new text, nothing happens.

I got a manual. This might not be the right manual though.

Did you try saving the augmented document to a separate file name,
then reading it back in ?

Once it's saved, load it into LibreOffice Draw and see if the
newly added Text is visible there. As far as I can remember,
LO Draw is what opens PDF in the suite. If you drop the PDF onto
the LO icon, it'll likely figure it out.

Since you mentioned Microsoft's Word then supposedly you actually have
that program installed on your computer.

    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/edit-a-pdf-b2d1d729-6b79-499a-bcdb-233379c2f63a

In LibreOffice, if you also have that installed since you mentioned it,
you can also open PDF documents.

    https://www.ghacks.net/2018/02/13/using-libreoffice-as-a-pdf-editor/

Both articles were found by simply searching on "Microsoft Word open
    PDF" and "LibreOffice open PDF".

I took a PDF document and used PDF Studio to OCR it, but now I'm stuck
-- I can't edit it. I try to follow the directions in Help. But

You paid $129 for the Pro edition of PDF Studio - you said you had Pro -
and they don't provide technical support for it?

    https://www.qoppa.com/pdfstudio/
    Pro: $129.

So, what happened when you tried to contact them using their phone
number, e-mail address, or web form mentioned on their Contact Us web
    page?

    https://www.qoppa.com/company/contact/

If you are freeloading off their trial version, well, that's probably
crippled, like no editing, until you buy it. Perhaps their trial
version is their free PDF viewer, and that's just a viewer.

It's quite likely that your PDF has been locked. Its creator doesn't
    want anyone to edit it.

It came from a scan operation, scanning bitmaps as pages
into a PDF. The OCR is the next step, done by PDF Studio.

Thanks to everyone. I'll post more when I know more.

Did you finish the project in time,

I have to finish it before I die, and that's not scheduled yet.

did you give up on the project, or are you still working
on their Tech Support for satisfaction ?

I seem to work on projects in rotation, and fixing my previous car to
sell it and answering my email were today's chores. I'll get back to
    this one soon though.

I still have my will from 1974, 44 years ago!, and that leaves
everything to my brother, which isn't so bad, but I want to leave some
money to my friend's kids, who need it, and to charity. If there is
still enough when I die, I was hoping for a fully-equipped hospital room
in memory of our parents. OTOH, if I need a nursing home, the money
    disappears very quickly.

The result I got with the Trial, leaves their watermark
text at the top. So you couldn't use that if submitting
the saved PDF to some other organization. But at least
I could get a result for test purposes, without paying
for it. I could see what it looks like.

Yes, I saw you did that. I addressed that in aother post in this therad.

I think I'd rather live in a van, down by the river.
