    What diskette?

Unfortunately no diskette's have been located just old zips of files. Diskettes are most likely long gone. Need to examine it. Might not be 100% original, but should be nearly the same as stock.

You may not have to hold out too much longer...

To begin, copy the contents of the diskette to the development directory of your hard drive (usually \tc\include). Type "grim" and the following
    files will be be extracted:

    grim.c
    grimcomm.c
    grimmap.c
    grimrout.c
    grimitms.c
    grimhapp.c
    grimmons.c
    grimcomb.c
    grimcom1.c
    grimutl.c
    grimzap.c
    grimmine.c
    grimtime.c

    grim.h
    grimzap.h

    grimtxt.msg
    grimrms.msg
    grimcfg.msg...(configuration variables...level 2)

    grim.rms
    makegrim.bat..(protected mode batch file)
    grimplyr.dat
    linkgrim.fil
    grim.doc......(this file)
vspells.doc...(an explanation of Spells, to be attached to a SIG message.)

Cool, well if you happen to have the zips of the disks, i'd hack away at it and try to make it work on my MBBS install on my PC. Thx

It will be awhile before anything like that happens. Zips may not be of stock unmodified code. Multiple versions are there, but it might just be different revisions from the developer. The previous owner was into making changes, but didn't document or
specifically backup the originals. But rest assured they do exist.

I just realized the source I'm looking at is fl2 not fl3. The sysop who bought it told me to look for the wrong name. I have to see if the fl3 source is even available in this archive. At least the binaries I got from a different sysop have been cracked.

Looks like the demo versions I had from got cracked. They are unmodified as far as gameplay and a fairly later version of the games. Bugs and all. BJS uploaded them to major.butt.care. I wish I could somehow diff the source and the dll to see what may
    have been modified.

I found it. Now I have to get MBBS running again. A real PITA since it wont work on Win10 x64 anymore, so time to VM. Anyhow here it is:

Yeah, these were found, cracked, and made available on major.butt.care about 16 months ago. Unfortunately there was no source code - and the default timings of FL3 are set such that the game is unbearably slow to the point of being totally unplayable in
    my opinion.

Hopefully someone will release the source code so this game can be enjoyed.

Can someone point the cracked files instead of the executable? I am using the emulator...
I can dig into getting DOSBox and whatnot up and running again but it'd be easier if someone already has the post-cracked version

Agreed. I went through the steps in a VM and kept a copy just for this reason, so here you go: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LaGwHi9G2xO_4JLSrngU_huZkFZMTZgn/view?usp=sharing
